New Year, New Progress System

🎉 4 of 4: This is part four of a four-part series on getting ready to be productive in the New Year!!

Happy New Year! I hope it's been a good one so far.

Over the past three weeks, we've built a system of filters, boundaries, and routines. Now let's create an easy way to maintain these practices without adding pressure or overwhelm.

The key is to keep your progress tracking as minimal as your system. Just a quick weekly check-in to notice what's working and what needs adjusting.

YOUR SIMPLE WEEKLY CHECK-IN

  1. What Filtered Out Well?
    • Which requests did you say no to?
    • How did using your filter questions feel?
    • What space did this create?
  2. Which Boundaries Held Strong?
    • Which response template did you use most?
    • Where did setting boundaries feel natural?
    • What would you like to protect more?
  3. Did Your Routine Support You?
    • Which checkpoint (morning, response, evening) helped you the most?
    • What made it easy or difficult for you to maintain?
    • How could it feel more natural to you?

Your Simple Action Step:

Choose one quiet moment in your week (maybe Sunday evening or Monday morning) for your 5-minute check-in. Set a reminder and treat it like a brief conversation with yourself.

Moving forward, let this system grow with you. Adjust your questions, refine your responses, and adapt your checkpoints as needed.

Progress isn't about perfection – it's about creating sustainable practices that honor your desire for a quiet and calm creative environment.

You now have a complete, simple system:

☃️ 1 of 4: This is part one of a four-part series on getting ready to be productive in the New Year!!
